The purpose of the Development Office is to meet the daily challenge of working with the OLP community as it grows in pursuing the mission of the Academy. All members of the OLP family, including parents, alumnae,
students, faculty, staff, and friends, work together in friendship to support the growth of our young ladies into committed women who seek to embrace the building blocks of justice, love and peace. Through the dedicated involvement of volunteers from the OLP family, the Development Office sponsors many activities which include the Welcome Mixer - Blue, White & You welcoming incoming freshmen parents and our OLP Community (August), the Annual Appeal Phone-a-thon (September), Grandparents’ Day (October), the OLP Auction (February), the OLP Golf Tournament (April) and Parish Day (May). Our tasks demand a team of volunteers who help the Academy carry out many of its efforts and priorities to ensure the continuance of quality education which we have held for 126 years. Please call our office to help, or for more information? Parents are provided with volunteer forms at the beginning of each school year.

Priorities
"There is a delight that comes with helping ... other people."
– Paul Newman (1925- )
The priorities of the Development Office are:
Contribute funds to help balance the budget to support the overall mission of an all girl Catholic school.
Provide for special needs on a one-time basis (upgrade the Auditorium).
Provide for major capital additions to the school (Event Center, renovation of Upper/Lower Plazas & Chapel/Library Courtyards, further enhancements for students' learning).
Support tuition aid which presently totals approximately $250,000 or $300,000 so the Academy can keep its doors open to a wide range of family economic levels, and
Raise major corporate and foundation gifts.
Volunteers are America's silent strength.
"Those who give of themselves in a spirit of unselfish devotion to the needs of others, are truly this nation's most generous, unsung heroes."
– William Ward (1921- )
If you wish to leave the Academy of Our Lady of Peace in your will, please call.
